SAVING LIVES WITH INTERCARE

Through our partnership with InterCare, we have been supporting some of the most vulnerable people in the world with products that really do save lives.

InterCare is a fantastic charity based close to our manufacturing site in the Midlands. They are dedicated to relieving suffering and saving lives by providing vital medical supplies to some of the poorest and most vulnerable children and adults in Sub-Saharan Africa. Working with InterCare, we work to donate vital supplies to people who would otherwise have died from treatable infections.

It’s obvious that essential antibiotics and medication are needed, but it doesn’t stop there. It’s vital that personal protective equipment, medical grade infection control products and other healthcare supplies are also provided to make sure infections of all types are treated effectively and prevented from spreading. That’s where Pal can make a real difference, and we think it’s our responsibility to do what we can.

As a business, we are proud to support InterCare, both with regular donations of life-saving products, but also with our time and effort. We’ve had members of our team accompany missions to Malawi to help directly where help is needed. And we won’t stop there – this year we plan to make a full video following the products from our factory to where they are needed, and work to understand how we can continue to support communities that need all the help that can be offered.

Last year 456 boxes were sent to Ghana and 10% of that was Pal donations.

”I wish to express my profound gratitude to InterCare for the gift of medicines and supplies you sent us. The parcels were received without any problem and we remain ever grateful to you.”

”Without InterCare’s presence in our life, certainly our services to the sick here would never have been the same. Your donations were of great support to us in providing quality health services to the sick and poor who attend our facility.”
