On 22 April the UK Government announced its intention to ban the sale of wet wipes containing plastic in the UK from the summer of 2024.
The announcement included proposals for an exemption from the ban for the supply and sale of wet wipes containing plastic for medical and industrial purposes.
All Pal products supplied through our partners, or direct to healthcare providers in the UK will fall within this exemption and our customers can continue to source high quality disinfection wipes directly from Pal. Pal will also continue to supply its products overseas to countries who do not have these same restrictions as those proposed in the UK.
Pal remains committed to environmental sustainability and continued product development. We also have plans in place for our manufacturing facilities to be net zero for scope 1 & 2 by the end of 2024.
