Pal starts work on its new production facility

New production facility

After many months of design and planning, work has now started on the construction and fit-out of our new production facility in Bardon Hill, Coalville, Leicestershire. Pal has appointed contractors Lindum Construction to support this work. Based out of Lincoln the Lindum Group has a long track record of delivering projects in the blue light and medical sectors, and in food production and processing.

It will take around 20 weeks to complete the work on-site. This includes installation of all electrical services, ventilation and heating systems, construction of a new ‘clean room’; production facility, construction of a new mix room and installation of office and welfare facilities for staff.

The fit-out process will be completed in the Summer of 2024. First to move over to the new site will be office and warehouse operations, followed by the transfer of our six production lines, including the installation of a new flow wrap converting and packaging line direct into the new building. We expect the facility will be fully operational by October 2024.
