CUSTOMER UPDATE: BREXIT

You may be forgiven for thinking that Brexit has taken a back seat against the backdrop of the global COVID-19 pandemic. But with the UK set to exit the European Union on 31 December 2020, we wanted to reassure you that at Pal International, we’re ready.

You may be forgiven for thinking that Brexit has taken a back seat against the backdrop of the global COVID-19 pandemic. But with the UK set to exit the European Union on 31 December 2020, we wanted to reassure you that at Pal International, we’re ready.

COVID-19 has been challenging for us as demand for our infection control products has naturally soared. We are doing everything we can to produce as much as we can in readiness, to make sure we’ll have a consistent supply of all our products. From employing more Pal People, to increasing production, we are working hard to make sure we keep you supplied.

EUROPEAN REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Many of our products require a European CE mark. We have made sure all our European compliance standards remain valid by proactively migrating our certification from a UK-based Notified Body to a European body. We’ve also updated our packaging artwork from CE 0086 to CE 2797. This means you can rest assured that all products requiring regulatory approval have exactly that – just as you would expect from Pal.

GUARANTEED SUPPLY

Did you know that we are fully authorised to trade with customers within the EU as a European business through our offices in the Republic of Ireland?  This means there’s no change to your regular contacts in our sales or service teams. The same people, the same great service. We’re committed to making sure this process is as painless as possible.

MINIMUM DISRUPTION

We know that the unprecedented times we’ve seen this year may mean you’re anxious about lead times and continuity of supply. We’re continuing to work closely with our logistics partners to minimise any risk of delay with transportation. Although there may be additional documentation required and potentially short term delays at ports both within the UK and Europe, we will take every step we can to make sure all deliveries arrive as expected, and keep you fully informed if there are delays outside our control.

We are here to help with any questions or concerns. If you have any queries regarding Brexit and your Pal orders, please contact your sales representative, contact us on +44 (0) 1455 555 700 or email hello@palinternational.com

Stay safe and best wishes,
